Recently, the large rotary drum metal dry grinding mill of AEMK manufacturing base has completed cylinder rolling, welding, large gear ring assembly and base installation. The matching feeding hopper is also finished. The machine enters quality inspection and commissioning and will soon be delivered to scrap metal recycling plants.
This dry grinding mill adopts a long rotary cylinder rolled from thick steel plates. A large-module driving gear ring is mounted outside, and riding rollers support the drum for stable low-speed rotation. Relying on mutual friction and impact of materials inside the drum, it realizes dry rust removal, degreasing and stripping of paint and oxide scale. Without wet processes such as acid pickling and sand blasting, it avoids wastewater pollution and serves as eco-friendly solid waste pretreatment equipment. The heavy-duty feeding hopper is welded by thick steel plates with strong impact resistance and wear resistance, ensuring stable feeding of crushed scrap, burnt iron and aluminum scrap.
It is suitable for various waste metals including burnt iron, crushed steel scrap, aluminum scrap and shredded aluminum alloy wheel materials. After dry grinding, oil, rust and coatings on metal surface are removed, greatly improving material purity, boosting sorting and smelting recovery rate and cutting melting energy consumption, helping customers get higher prices for recycled metals. The drum can run continuously with large throughput and stable performance. It can be combined with gantry shears, balers and dryers to form a complete scrap metal recycling production line.
Every procedure including plate cutting, rolling, welding inspection, gear assembly and base leveling undergoes strict quality control. AEMK keeps improving its recycling equipment portfolio. Shearing, baling, drying and dry grinding machines work as a complete set, supplying one-stop solid waste recycling solutions for global clients and promoting green and low-carbon production in recycled metal industry.
